 We absolutely love getting to know our customers, their style and a little bit about their world! We caught up with a Mombasa regular, Noosa Northshore Mum of two and Dental Professional Helen Rose, to find out what influences her life and style. 

Describe your style

I mainly wear dresses, I tend to go for the more floaty and pretty look. 

Anything that is flattering for my figure, so mainly A-line, but also comfortable.

What colour would you never wear?

Brown!!! For any piece of clothing

I usually try to avoid all black and all white. But sometimes this look is appropriate.

Brown is not appropriate for any occasion.

How do you balance work and family?

Much easier then I did before I worked. I tend to be much more organised these days and also appreciate the time I have with my children.

I find routine is the key. Knowing that I only have the weekend for any real quality time with my family and to relax. I try to get organised with house chores etc during week nights or mornings I try to be more efficient and use every spare second I have.

What surprising lessons have you learned along the way?

Once you become a parent, having that little bit of "your old life" pre-kids, at times, is very important for your mental health. 

What’s your favourite movie?

A tie between Clueless, Cruel Intentions and Marley and Me - a bit embarrassing re: Clueless...

If they are on tv, no matter how many times I have seen them, I will watch them.

A perfect Sunday is….

A nice breaky with plenty of coffee in the sun. Followed by going to the beach with the kids. Then sitting down to a nice lunch outdoors with friends and / or family and having a few drinks throughout the afternoon. Topping it off with a bit of fishing off the jetty, watching the sun set.

What was the last take out you ate?

Pizza

If you had $10,000 to spend on a holiday where would you go?

Hire a van and take the kids and hubby on a trip around Australia.

Are you a cat person or dog person?

Both, but i currently just have a cat.
