Most people think of their grandmother or Queen Elizabeth when they hear the word brooch.  But you no longer have to think that way as the brooch has made a comeback!  Yes, in 2020 they are back in vogue.  Wearing a brooch today can add a touch of elegance to any outfit from tee-shirts to evening gowns and everything in between.

Brooches come in all shapes and sizes. What we love is the look of a brooch added in unexpected places.

Wear the brooch on unexpected places such as gathering in the waist of a T Shirt, or on the waistband of a skirt.

A delicate opal brooch pinned on the point of a sweetheart neckline looks too divine.

Use a larger brooch to fasten a cape or at the back of a halter neck dress.

My favorite way is to pin a pretty brooch on my straw hat!
